Frequently Asked Questions
Why are you closed Mondays from
2pm-4pm?
- Because after each busy
weekend, we need to inventory the store. If we can't have
uninterrupted time for a careful inventory we won't order the
right things.
- Because lots of internet orders
come in over the weekend, and we often need extra time to complete
them.
- Because our suppliers,
contractors, banks, etc. have been closed during the weekend, we
often need time to make phone calls, run errands, compose faxes,
and send invoices.
- Because every weekend
something unexpected happens that will be easier to fix while no
customers are in the store.
Yes, if you peek in the windows you will see that
we are actually here between 2pm and 4pm on Mondays. You will
also notice that we are busy. We do not want to inconvenience
you - that's why we have been posting our Monday closing hours for
the past 9 years.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
From Annapolis, & points south;
1. Follow Rt. 2 (Ritchie Highway) North to Severna Park.
2. Watch for a bowling alley, antique shop, and motorcycle dealer on
the left.
3. After you pass them, turn around onto Ritchie Highway southbound.
4. Pass the bowling alley, then immediately pull in at the tall
"Severna Park Business Center" sign.
5. Drive back to the long strip mall that leads off to the right,
we're near the far end.
From Maryland's Eastern Shore;
1. Cross the Bay Bridge and follow signs to Rt. 2 North,
continue about 4.8 miles.
2. Watch for a bowling alley, antique shop, and motorcycle dealer on
the left.
3. After you pass them, turn around onto Ritchie Highway southbound.
4. Pass the bowling alley, then immediately pull in at the tall
"Severna Park Business Center" sign.
5. Drive back to the long strip mall that leads off to the right,
we're near the far end.
From Bowie, Crofton, Washington DC, and points west;
1. Take Rt. 50 past Annapolis, go over the Severn River
Bridge. Get in the right lane.
2. Just after crossing the Severn River Bridge, exit right, and then
bear left for Rt. 2 North.
3. Continue about 4.8 miles on Rt. 2 North.
4. Watch for a bowling alley, antique shop, and motorcycle dealer on
the left.
5. After you pass them, turn around onto Ritchie Highway southbound.
6. Pass the bowling alley, then immediately pull in at the tall
"Severna Park Business Center" sign.
7. Drive back to the long strip mall that leads off to the right,
we're near the far end.
From Baltimore and points north;
1. Get on I-97 South.
2. Take Exit 10 (Benfield Rd) East towards
Severna Park (that's the second Exit 10).
3. When you reach Route 2 (Ritchie Highway) turn right
(south.)
4. Watch for a motorcycle dealer, antique shop, and bowling alley on
the right.
5. As you pass the bowling alley, immediately pull in at the tall
"Severna Park Business Center" sign.
6. Drive back to the long strip mall that leads off to the right,
we're near the far end.
- OR -
1. Take Route 10 South from the Baltimore beltway.
2. Follow Route 10 to the second Route 2 exit. This is marked "Route
2 Severna Park."
3. Turn Left (South) on Route 2.
4. Watch for a motorcycle dealer, antique shop, and bowling
alley on the right.
5. As you pass the bowling alley, immediately pull in at the tall
"Severna Park Business Center" sign.
6. Drive back to the long strip mall that leads off to the right,
we're near the far end.
* Those from the Columbia area can take Rt. 1 to Rt. 32
east, then to route 10 or I-97 north. Then take the first exit 10 (Benfield
Rd.) east towards Severna Park.
