Innovative F-packs take this line of unique specialty wine kits to an altogether different level. The addition of these finishing packs at the end of the fermentation process allows winemakers to create their very own ports, sherries, icewines, and champagne. Selection Speciale kits are packaged in 11.5 liter format, with a finished yield of 11.5 liters. Produces wines meant to be aged and savored.
Selection Speciale kits make 3 gallons, so in addition to your normal winemaking equipment you need a 3 gallon carboy for a secondary fermentor. Don’t use your 6 gallon carboy (unless you're making two kits at once) because the air in the headspace will spoil the wine. We also suggest using small bottles, because these wines are normally consumed in smaller quantities than normal table wines.
