SP10 185,000 btu Propane Burner

The SP10 burner uses a high-powered 4 inch ring burner. Stand is 13 inches high with 14 inch diameter cooking surface. Includes 20 psi regulator and stainless wrapped hose - you supply a standard propane tank.

The 4-inch ring burner is very popular in home brewing. At full blast it can supply up to 185,000 btu of heat. The full blast setting is also somewhat loud and the flame tends to jump a lot, wasting some gas. More conservative testing methods rate this burner at 56,000 btu at a cleaner, calmer flame setting. Either way, many people boil 5, 10, and 15 gallon batches with these burners so in the real world they're 'plenty hot!'

The SQ14 burner uses a medium-power 6 inch ring burner. Stand is 13 inches high with 16 inch square cooking surface. Includes 10 psi regulator and stainless wrapped hose - you supply a standard propane tank.

The 6 inch burner runs lower power flame, but uses more orifices than the standard 4-inch ring burner. Although the maximum power output can't match the 4" model, the 6" runs quieter, and you can push it closer to maximum output before the flame starts jumping.
