This is the best hose for almost all short-run beverage lines. The total restriction in your beer line must equal the amount of pressure applied to the keg, or else the beer will flow too fast. Never turn down the pressure to dispense! This hose restricts a bit more than 1 P.S.I. per foot. Figure that your keg & faucet already restrict about 1-2 P.S.I. So for example, a keg at 12 P.S.I. needs about 8 or 9 feet of this hose (used as beer line) for proper low-foam dispensing. Price: $0.49 per footQuantity:
Thick wall 1/4" vinyl hose. Great for CO2 applications, where restriction isn't necessary. This hose can also be used on longer beverage runs. Never turn down the pressure to dispense! This hose restricts about 0.5 P.S.I. per foot. Figure that your keg & faucet already restrict about 1-2 P.S.I. So for example, a keg at 12 P.S.I. needs about 20 feet of this hose (used as beer line) for proper low-foam dispensing. Price: $0.49 per footQuantity:
Extra thick wall 5/16" vinyl hose. Usually Red or Blue color. The best tube for CO2 applications, where restriction isn't necessary. Most CO2 regulators already have a 5/16" hose barb. Price: $0.65 per footQuantity:
Good for hose up to 1/2 inch outer diameter. These are the same clamps we use for our draft beer systems and wort chillers. Price: $0.75Quantity:
