Style: German Munich-style Lager
Do you like Beck's Dark?
Our "Martinak Dunkel" recipe is a dark German-style lager that isn't heavy. It has a clean malty flavor and aroma, deep color, and moderately light body. The flavor and aroma of toasted and roasted malt are dominant, due to the moderate amount of German hops used in this recipe. This lager ferments well at a wide range of fermentation temperatures, thanks to the special "Tuborg" family yeast strain we use. Good results can be achieved fermenting at temperatures between 50 and 74 degrees, so a good comfortable room or basement is all you need.
Add this product to your cart in addition to your recipe kit if you would like the included dry yeast replaced with live yeast and an ice pack for a $5.00 surcharge.
